Place of Welcome

place-of-welcomeCourt Hey Church has been deeply concerned about social isolation in the community for many years. So we are pleased to announce Court Hey has a weapon to fight loneliness in the community. It is a weapon of friendship, safety and community and we want to offer this to all people whatever age, gender or beliefs. And so we are starting a new initiative called “Places of Welcome” The church will be open to everyone each Friday morning between 10.00am to 12.00 noon. It’s a place for a cuppa and a chat, a place to be listened to, a place where everyone is valued. We have lots of ideas to make this time as creative as possible, including a book swap, read the newspapers, knit & natter, play scrabble, snacks and a craft table and loads more.

So why not drop in it’s completely free.

We want to reassure you that there are no strangers here only friends we’ve yet to meet.
